Our anti-graffiti protective films are a durable, optically clear and removable product that acts as a sacrificial barrier between vandals and the surfaces they cover, including interior and exterior glass windows and mirrors, as well as other non-porous surfaces like stainless steel and marble. The unnoticeable film protects surfaces from paint, key scratches, marking and even acid-etching. Can it be removed by vandals?
Ultimately it can be removed. That being said, as part of the installation process we do certain things we can't detail in this FAQ, to 'hide' the fact that there is film installed on the glass, mirror etc. We can explain more when you call us to discuss.
Can I purchase film and apply it myself?
No, these films need to be installed by an authorised Solar Gard or 3M trained and accredited installer.
Will it reduce the natural light in the room?
No, these films are optically clear and do not reduce the amount of natural light entering the room.
What films do you use?
We're an authorised installer of both Solar Gard and 3M, both of which offer the highest quality window films on the market. We also use other brands where we feel they are the right fit. We have an extensive network of suppliers so if there is something specific you had in mind, let us know and we can discuss it further.
Will it go purple?
No, but if for whatever reason something does go wrong, you're backed by a manufacturers warranty of 3 to 10 years.
Will it reduce the natural light in the room?
No, these films are optically clear and do not reduce the amount of natural light entering the room.
Will there be any joins in the window film?
Unless your window exceeds 1.8m by 1.8m there will not be any joins or splices in your window film. If it's likely that we may need to install a join or splice, we'll let you know beforehand. We also try very hard to limit joins with safety and security films to ensure maximum tensile strength.
Will my film bubble?
Film will have small bubbles in it after the installation, these will go away. Films that are not made to withstand Australian conditions may bubble over time. Our films are all suited to Australian conditions and will not bubble. If for whatever reason your film does bubble, you are backed by a manufacturers warranty of 7 years to lifetime.
