Digitally Printed Wall and Window Films
Whatever your branding needs, we can develop a digitally printed film to be applied to glass and wall panels. Using full-colour graphics or a simpler design, you'll receive exceptional quality. Our films give you the flexibility to achieve the right combination of light, asthetics, privacy and protection.
Using hybrid printers, the production process has greater quality controls and fast turnaround of your order. Production capabilities include fade out effects and white ink printing and the option of opaque, optically clear, solar control, dual-climate, safety, security or anti-graffiti films. The advantage of printing onto window film is that is can be easily removed and replaced, and when paired with the advanced precision cutting service the scope of the application range is only limited by your imagination.
Producing exceptional quality, clarity and elegance in widnow film print, which is both hard-wearing and adaptable to a range of applications that now also includes a variety of rigid media such as acoustic panels, timber products and traditional wall paper. From low-tac removable (often used for temporary installations) to high-tac over laminted products (high durability, suitable for external use) we're confident that we have a digitally printed wall or window graphic solution that is suitable to your creative scope.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you see through it?
You cannot see through frosted window films. Clear, solar control, dual-climate, safety and security films can be seen through day and night.
Will it reduce the natural light in the room?
Generally not but this depends on your choice of film and your printed design. We provide free A3 samples which can be installed prior to you making your final decision and so you can determine if it's the right choice for you.
Will it discolour or lose colour over time?
Externally installed films are exposed to the elements more than internally installed films and as such will unfortunately lose colour over time as they are exposed to sunlight, rain, possibly hail and so on. There are warranties provided on all supplied films and we will certainly bring this to your attention throughout the process. Internally installed films are less exposed to the elements and as such have a much longer life. Generally internally installed films are more exposed to bumps and knocks from people which break them down over time.
Is the film installed on the inside or the outside of the building?
Majority of the films we supply and install are installed on the inside of the room. In some cases, an externally installed film is recommended. We will discuss this when we come out to your building to assess your windows.
What are the artwork requirements?
We accept cd’s/dvd's or you can email us up to 5MB of data at a time. Larger files can be sent via www.dropbox.com. We run on PC only so it’s also important to remember to save your MAC files to PC format. Without a provided sample or a PANTONE colour we cannot guarantee colour matching. We do not accept Dulux colours. Accepted files and software used are: Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Adobe Photoshop (.psd), AutoCAD (.dwg), as well as a variety of other files; .eps .jpg .tif .pdf .dxf. When supplying bit maps (ie. jpegs, tiffs or eps) to get the best results, the file must be saved at actual size and at no less than 300dpi if actual size is not possible, 1/3 (33.33%) of the actual size at no less that 300dpi will be ok. Our preferred file formats are; .ai (vector only), .eps (vector or bitmaps), .tif (bitmaps only).
Will there be any joins in the window film?
Unless your window exceeds 1.8m by 1.8m there will not be any joins or splices in your window film. If it's likely that we may need to install a join or splice, we'll let you know beforehand.
What films do you use?
We're an authorised installer of both Solar Gard and 3M, both of which offer the highest quality window films on the market. We also use other brands where we feel they are the right fit. We have an extensive network of suppliers so if there is something specific you had in mind, let us know and we can discuss it further.
Will my film bubble?
Can I purchase film and apply it myself?
It is recommended that a member of the AlpineTint team install the film on your behalf as getting it 'just right' requires a particular skill-set and experience. That being said, some (not all) of our films are available for purchase if you decided to do the installation yourself.
Film will have small bubbles in it after the installation, these will go away. Films that are not made to withstand Australian conditions may bubble over time. Our films are all suited to Australian conditions and will not bubble. If for whatever reason your film does bubble, you are backed by a manufacturers warranty of 7 years to lifetime.
