Safety decals are required by law on clear glass to prevent people walking into a panel or pane and injuring themselves. We provide a variety of warning decals ranging from basic patterns and logos to sophisticated digitally printed and precision cut designs - a variety of which are available to choose from our design range.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it reduce the natural light in the room?
Generally not but this depends on your choice of film and your printed design. We provide free A3 samples which can be installed prior to you making your final decision and so you determine if its the right choice for you.
Will it discolour or lose colour over time?
Externally installed films are exposed to the elements more than internally installed films and as such will unfortunately lose colour over time as they are exposed to sunlight, rain, possibly hail and so on. There are warranties provided on all supplied films and we will certainly bring this to your attention throughout the process. Internally installed films are less exposed to the elements and such have a much longer life. Generally internally installed films are more exposed to bumps and knocks from people which break them down over time.
Can I purchase film and apply it myself?
It is recommended that a member of the AlpineTint team install the film on your behalf as getting it 'just right' requires a particular skill-set and experience. That being said, some (not all) of our films are available for purchase if you decided to do the installation yourself.
What are the artwork requirements?
We accept cd’s/dvd's or you can email us up to 5MB of data at a time. Larger files can be sent via www.dropbox.com. We run on PC only so it’s also important to remember to save your MAC files to PC format. Without a provided sample or a PANTONE colour we cannot guarantee colour matching. We do not accept Dulux colours. Accepted files and software used are: Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Adobe Photoshop (.psd), AutoCAD (.dwg), as well as a variety of other files; .eps .jpg .tif .pdf .dxf. When supplying bit maps (ie. jpegs, tiffs or eps) to get the best results, the file must be saved at actual size and at no less than 300dpi if actual size is not possible, 1/3 (33.33%) of the actual size at no less that 300dpi will be ok. Our preferred file formats are; .ai (vector only), .eps (vector or bitmaps), .tif (bitmaps only).
What films do you use?
We're an authorised installer of both Solar Gard and 3M, both of which offer the highest quality window films on the market. We also use other brands where we feel they are the right fit. We have an extensive network of suppliers so if there is something specific you had in mind, let us know and we can discuss it further.
Will my film bubble?
Film will have small bubbles in it after the installation, these will go away. Films that are not made to withstand Australian conditions may bubble over time. Our films are all suited to Australian conditions and will not bubble. If for whatever reason your film does bubble, you are backed by a manufacturers warranty of 7 years to lifetime.
